For the Infusionsoft ‘classic’ fields, the values must be like these:

To determine the values to use, go to a contact record in Infusionsoft, open the browser debugger, click the box (ex: click the contact’s twitter box) and look for the name= in the debugger. Here’s what you’ll find for the twitter html:

The ‘custom’ fields work as explained in the blog:

for a custom field named LeadMagnet.

Hi Josh – sorry, this is technically a work-around so I can’t really support it. If you can’t get it to work, I’d suggest trying option 2 in this article and making it a two-step process.

I was wondering if this is still working for you? I’ve tried to implement this in an order form of mine and it seems to break the functionality, as when I click the ‘place order’ button, it’s non-responsive.

Hi Thomas – I’m not sure it works the same way with the shopping cart as with the order forms. I’d recommend having a developer look into it for you. Sorry I can’t help more!

I added the script to the Shopping Cart theme and it seems to be working ok.
I made it a required field. When left blank and click on Review Order, the alert “Fill in the required field…” is not showing. Any idea why?
