PlusThis is built for a very specific audience in mind. It’s a niche product serving a niche market. But if you fit that group, you’ll likely see a lot of benefit from the product.

What is PlusThis?
PlusThis is an add-on that integrates directly with marketing automation software like Infusionsoft, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot and others to enhance your CRM and marketing campaigns.
What makes it unique is that it specializes in performing very specific tasks and jobs that help marketers improve the performance of their campaigns. For example, you can set up automated SMS, deep webinar integrations, Facebook audience syncing, video tracking, expiring offers and a whole lot more.

My Favorite PlusThis Tools
There are dozens of great use cases I could share with you about how PlusThis has helped my business or my clients’ businesses. If you want to see some for yourself, check out the case studies section on their website.
For this review, I’ll share my favorite tools that, if implemented, will pay back your investment every month in either more sales or more time.
Scarcity & Countdown Timers
This tool is a great way to automate limited-availability offers. No need to manually count how many people have bought so you know when to turn off your bonus. PlusThis monitors and automates delivery for you.
When you combine this with countdowns and other scarcity features, you’ll be able to create campaigns that get your prospects to take action so they don’t miss out on customized (and legitimate) expiring offers.
This one is pretty straightforward. It allows you to send outbound SMS messages using Twilio or create automated conversations (sort of like an SMS bot). This is great for offline events, where capturing data is much easier using text messages. SMS is a great alternative to crowded email inboxes.
Do you ever wonder if your prospect actually watched the video you sent them? With this tool, you’ll be able to track how much of a specific video your prospects watch, which then allows you to follow up accordingly. For example, if they watch the whole video, you would send a different follow-up message from those who only watched the first few seconds.
Google Sheets Exporter
This one makes custom reporting a breeze. It allows you to set up a schedule, which then syncs your CRM data with a Google Sheet. Since Google Sheets are ultra flexible, this tool has a LOT of potential from creating custom reports, to syncing data across other tools.
Other helpful tools
I’ve only mentioned a few here, but hopefully you’re starting to see the power of what’s possible with PlusThis. Some other tools I use and are worth mentioning are Facebook audience syncing, webinar integrations and automation (tagging contacts who show up or don’t show up to your webinars), and calendar integrations.

I think you'll find his tone similar to this article, which is that PlusThis is an incredible option for enhancing your existing marketing campaigns.
PlusThis has all the regular support options you’d expect from a software company. I’ve always been impressed how quickly and thoroughly they get back to me. You can either create a support ticket or ask a question in their Facebook users group. Both are great options and have yielded quick responses within 24 business hours.
PlusThis isn’t the only tool of its kind. There are other tools on the market that offer similar features. Below you’ll find a list of a few competitors.
In the list below you’ll find that all tools have overlapping features, but none of these is a real apples to apples comparison. Each one is built for a specific audience in mind and each has its own unique strengths and weaknesses.
Since my experience is mostly in the Infusionsoft ecosystem, these alternatives are generally best for Infusionsoft users.
PlusThis vs Zapier
Zapier is another favorite tool of mine. It’s incredibly versatile and useful for connecting two apps together, or even enhancing data you already have. Zapier is a little different from PlusThis though. Its focus is connecting and integrating apps (it has a huge library of almost every app you’ve ever heard of) to send data back and forth, while PlusThis focuses more on marketing automation tasks rather than sending data between two apps.
PlusThis vs MyFusionHelper
In the Infusionsoft ecosystem, this is the closest competitor to PlusThis. In fact, many of the tools are identical in how they perform. In my experience, MyFusionHelper lacks the updates and support that PlusThis has; I don’t think I’ve seen a new feature added to MyFusionHelper since about 2018, while PlusThis is constantly adding new features.
PlusThis vs FunnelBots
FunnelBots is another tool specific to Infusionsoft offered by the team at FixYourFunnel. Its main differentiator for the average user is that it’s free to create an account and use. It doesn’t have nearly the amount of tools as PlusThis, but I’m constantly surprised at how much FunnelBots gives away for being completely free. It even has a few tools that PlusThis doesn’t.
What’s the catch, you ask? I suspect FunnelBots is a great lead generator for their flagship product called FixYourFunnel, which is a great phone and SMS add-on for Infusionsoft.
PlusThis vs Novak Solutions
Novak Solutions is another tool specifically built for the Infusionsoft ecosystem. It shares some features of all the previous ones mentioned above and is pretty easy to implement. What I like about Novak Solutions is that they give you one free tool to try it out without any limitations on that one tool.
Like most software, PlusThis has a tiered pricing structure. The more features you need and use, the more you’ll pay. Here’s how it breaks down:

PlusThis is solidly built. It's easily one of the most reliable and consistent add-ons I've used. I have no hesitations with the quality of the product.
Support has always been easy to use and consistent. I wish they'd add the ability to call in for fast support issues, but overall, it's always a pleasant experience.
For an add-on, PlusThis can be pricey. The good news is that if you use it correctly, you can easily make your money back in either more sales or saved time.

PlusThis is a superb, add-on tool to your marketing automation platform. Sure, there are a few features here and there I wish they would add, but overall it is an incredibly useful software for any marketer. Plus, they’re adding new connectors and tools all the time.
Deciding if you want PlusThis should be pretty easy. What I mean is that it’s not like a CRM or marketing tool, where there is a lot of gray area about where or how you can best implement it. Instead, it’s generally black and white.
Since it performs very specific “jobs” or tasks, you’ll just need to decide if implementing one or more of these will be beneficial for your business.
